Joshana Chinappa did not spring any surprise against top seed Annie Au from Hong Kong and went down in straight games in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open squash tournament here today.
The Indian lost 7-11 4-11 8-11. It was never expected to be easy for sixth seed Joshana against the world number 11.
All it took the Hong Kong national champion was just 34 minutes to complete the semi-final line up in the tournament.
Joshana had won the Victorian Open at the same venue last week.
