Murli Manohar Joshi will flag off the train from Kanpur Central Railway Station at 4:15 PM tomorrow and preparations are going on in full swing for the function, railway officials said.
However, from next Wednesday, the scheduled time of departure of the train from here will be 6.15 PM. It will reach Bandra at 11.15 PM the next day, they said.
The train will travel through Hathras, Mathura, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Ratlam, Surat and Wapi.
It will start for Kanpur from Bandra on Fridays.
Meanwhile, former MP of the region Sriprakash Jaiswal claimed that it was he who, on the demand of businessmen here, had pressurised the then railway minister and got the train project approved in the 2013-14 Budget.
"To me, it does not matter who is flagging off the train. I am happy and satisfied that a long-pending demand of Kanpur residents have been met," he said.
