Joy Mangano's biopic to release in December 2015
'Joy' reunites Academy-award winning Lawrence with her 'Silver Linings Playbook' and 'American Hustle' director David O Russell, reported Digital Spy.
The Christmas Day release date will put 'Joy' up against 'Mission: Impossible 5' and 'Kung Fu Panda 3'.
'Joy' will chronicle the journey of Mangano from being a Long Island housewife to finding worldwide success as the inventor of the Miracle Mop.
Annie Mumolo is writing the screenplay for 'Joy', following her box office success with the Oscar-nominated 'Bridesmaids'.
