"We strongly oppose the new recruitment policy of the state government. It is anti-youth and against the norms of equal wages for equal work", JPPF president Thakur Pavittar Singh Bhardwaj said here today.
He claimed under the present policy, new recruits will get only basic pay as salary for five years against an employee appointed earlier in the same category, who will get a three-fold pay.
In 2011, The Jammu and Kashmir High Court had stayed implementation of the new recruitment policy introduced by the state government in 2010, but the stay was later vacated by the court.
