"The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu is going to organise North Zone Inter-University Badminton (men and women) tournament from October 27 to 31," Vice-Chancellor Jammu University Prof. Mohan Paul Singh Ishar told reporters here today.
He said 48 Universities have sent their entries in the men's section, while 46 Universities have sent their entries in women's category.
"Keeping in view the overall trend of participation of teams, around 75 to 80 teams are expected to participate in the men's and women's competitions," Prof. Ishar said.
