Under the plan 4500 connections will be provided at 86 bustee's where water infrastructure has already been laid.
Addresssing the gathering on the occasion, Mathur said that JUSCO, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Steel maintaining the township under Tata command area and also provide municipal services, would ensure quality drinking water to the residents but it is people's responsibility to conserve and protect wastage.
He further emphasized to those who already have water connections to install meter so that their consumption is monitored and they consume water as per the requirement and not waste it.
