Senior judge of Orissa High Court, Justice Pradeep K Mohanty, today took charge for a second time as its Acting Chief Justice.
The post of Chief Justice fell vacant following the elevation earlier this week of former Chief Justice C Nagappan to the Bench of Supreme Court.
Mohanty was earlier appointed to the same post in December last year after the then Chief Justice, V Gopala Gowda, was elevated to Supreme Court.
In his first stint as the Acting CJ, Mohanty had served in that capacity till the end of February 2013.
