Pop sensation Justin Bieber is being sued over a violent brawl in a nightclub.
The 20-year-old singer has been handed a lawsuit from a 22-year-old man named Wayne Rennalls, who claims the star's security team left him bloodied and bruised following an altercation at South Pointe nightclub in Southampton, New York in May 2013, reported TMZ.
Local police investigated the incident at the time but didn't look into the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker's conduct as he wasn't involved in the brawl, however, Wayne argues that as the bodyguards were on his payroll, he should make things right financially.
Wayne has also criticised the venue where the fight took place for allegedly serving Justin alcohol despite him being just 19-years-old at the time and is suing both them and the singer for an unspecified amount of damages.
The incident in question - which took place in the nightclub's car park - was reportedly sparked after a girl was stopped when she attempted to speak to Bieber.
The girl later returned to the VIP area with Wayne, resulting in Bieber losing his temper and reportedly pulling off his shirt and screaming at the man.
The controversial star then left the club with his security team in tow and the row continued in the car park until police were called to the scene.
