Kakinada city MLA Vanamadi Kondababu today said he would go on a hunger strike if the district administration failed to act against those who have grabbed some 100 acres of government land across the city.
Speaking to reporters at TDP office here, he said he had promised during his election campaign to free government lands from encroachers and get them alloted for housing for the poor.
The district collector wasn't taking any action, he said.
He had also taken up the issue with the Chief Minister N Chadrababu Naidu three months ago, he said.
