The teenager, who accused Kanye West of battery, has asked the rapper to settle the case out of court in a thousands of dollars agreement.
The 'Stronger' rapper was accused of attacking the 18-year-old in a chiropractor's waiting room last week. He has been asked by the teenager's lawyer to consider a civil settlement, reported TMZ online.
The incident involved West's fiancee, Kim Kardashian, who got into a row with the young man after he helped her avoid paparazzi in Beverly Hills.
The teen then used foul phrases for Kim, who has a seven-month-old daughter North with West.
The 36-year-old rapper arrived at the scene soon after the altercation and followed the boy into the chiropractor's office where he is said to have gone 'nuts' and attacked him.
The attack was apparently only stopped when a massage therapist managed to drag West away from the fight.
The teenager is yet to cooperate with police over the incident and appears to have no injuries despite claiming the rapper punched him over 30 times.
It is thought both sides are in negotiations to settle the agreement outside of court.
