Kapur is the best placed at tied 21st, while Bhullar and Chowrasia are tied 48th.
The best Indian on the opening day was Chowrasia with a card of four-under 68 that placed him tied third, but he slipped in the second round with a three-over 75 that saw him tied 45th at the end of the second round.
Kapur was steady with 71 in first round and he followed that with a 70 to move from tied 45th to tied 21st, while Bhullar (72-71) is now tied 48th, up from first round 62nd.
Chowrasia, who had a top-10 after a long time last week in Denmark, said, "I had a great start in first round with seven birdies and three bogeys. I have been hitting the ball well and putting has been improving each week. I have changed my driver and I practiced with it for a week before leaving for Europe. This helped in Denmark and here in first round. But the touch was missing in second round, where I had just one birdie."
He had four bogeys.
Jamie Donaldson displayed the class and composure of a future Ryder Cup star as he stayed on top after 36 holes with a 69 following on first round 68 and he is now seven-under 135. He is one shot ahead of Gregory Bourdy (69-67) while Tim Slattery (68-69), Tommy Fleetwood (72-65) and Stephen Gallacher (70-67) were tied third.
