The 30-year-old actor played the role of an obsessive husband in the show opposite actress Sriti Jha. The serial aimed at putting out a social message against domestic violence.
"We are starting 'Saubhagyavati Bhava' part 2 and it is going to be even better than last time, something that nobody has ever done on TV. We are going to be dwelling on how he became Viraaj. I will soon start shooting for it," Karanvir told PTI.
"I was bored doing the same daily shows. I need that break, the space to come back. My intention to join 'Jhalak' was to do a rigorous training because it will help me in my future projects as an actor. When 'Jhalak' came my way, I thought what better than getting paid to learn dance," he added.
Karanvir has just wrapped up shooting for his first Punjabi movie 'Love u Soniyo', produced by him and his actress wife Teejay Sidhu.
The movie releases on October 24.
