The royal couple of the film industry have named their little bundle of joy Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.
"We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016.
"We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection," Kareena and Saif said in a statement.
"The family is delighted. Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi is a beautiful baby boy and both mother and son are doing very well!!," Soha told PTI.
Kareena's elder sister Karisma posted a picture on Instagram that read "It's a baby boy that makes me a proud maasi!".
"Lots of love and happiness to both Bhai (Saif) and Kareena. It's been a happy morning welcoming the beautiful baby boy," Kunal tweeted.
Kareena, 36, delivered the baby at 7:30 am at the Breach Candy Hospital, in south Mumbai and actress' friends including filmmaker Karan Johar, Amrita Arora, Sonam Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan also welcomed the "mini nawab".
"My Bebo had a baby boy!!!!!!! Am so so happy!!!!!!! #TaimurAliKhan," Karan tweeted.
The actress' "Veere Di Wedding" co-star and friend Sonam wrote, "Congratulations my darling Bebo and Saif! #taimuralikhanpataudi is going to be the apple of everyone's eye... #mininawab."
Actress Kajal Aaggarwal also congratulated the couple.
"Hearty wishes to the adorable couple #KareenaKapoor and #SaifAliKhan on the arrival of your lil bundle of joy! #TaimurAliKhan," she wrote.
"Woohoooooo ... This is such amazing news!!! #TaimurAliKhan May God bless the little bundle of joy with health, happiness & a bright future," Sophie Choudry posted.
Actor Tusshar Kapoor said," Even more glorious life with God's blessing in hand! Cheers to Saif and her both and peace and everlasting joy to the little prince."
While it is the first child for the actress, Saif already has two kids Sara and Ibrahim with ex wife Amrita Singh.
