In a two-day match which concluded yesterday, Joshi and Deshpande smashed unbeaten scores of 212 and 204 respectively.
While Deshpande rocked with his bat by smashing three sixes and 24 boundaries off 258 balls, Joshi cracked eight sixes and 23 fours off 199 balls.
Joshi and Deshpande stitched the partnership when Vultures Cricket Club were struggling at 55 for four in 18.3 overs of the allotted 90 overs.
This was a record partnership, and also a record for both the batsmen getting double hundreds in a I Division league match wherein the first innings is limited to 90 overs.
