Karthi's dream film is 'Katru Veliyidai': Suriya

Popular Tamil film actor Suriya today said ace director Mani Ratnam's upcoming flick "Katru Veliyidai" was a dream film for his brother and actor Karthi Sivakumar.
After the successful 'O Kadhal Kanmani' which had actor Dulquer Salman and actress Nithya Menon in lead roles, the poster of Mani Ratnam's next flick 'Katru Veliyidai', starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, was launched yesterday.
"My brother's dream film I can say! As an Asst to Mani sir in 2003, as a hero now! so looking forward!! #KaatruVeliyidai", Suriya tweeted.
Karthi who was an assistant director to Mani Ratnam, was formally introduced in award winning "Paruthi Veeran". His hits include "Paiya", "Chiruthai", among others.

'Katru Veliyidai' has double Oscar winner A R Rahman scoring the music and Vairamuthu penning the lyrics. The cast includes noted Radio Jockey R J Balaji among others.
