Recollecting Rao's visits to Chennai in 2004 and the deliberations the DMK leader had with him on Telangana, Karunanidhi said "ultimately you have achieved your goal."
"Under your able leadership, I am quite confident that the new Telangana state will enjoy a very peaceful and useful governance." Telangana will become the India's 29th state tomorrow.
