The group of 38 children from various parts of Kashmir Valley met Ramachandran at his residence here and recounted their experiences to him which they had gathered during their visit to cities like Agra, Ajmer and Gandhinagar.
The Minister asked the children to share their experiences with their friends and family back home once they return to their state.
The Border Security Force (BSF), which is deployed for security duties in Jammu and Kashmir including guarding the Indo-Pak border, undertakes such tours to instill a sense of patriotism and pride amongst youngsters and border population.
