However, she was not the only royal to make it to the list. Her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, also featured, as did Monaco's Charlotte Casiraghi and HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
Middleton was followed by flame haired Hollywood beauty Jessica Chastain. The other prominent names that made it to the list include Diane Kruger and Lea Seydoux and New York Times street style photographer Bill Cunningham.
Singer Alicia Keys, actress Fan Bingbing and British actor Eddie Redmayne also featured in the list so did designer Stella McCartney, Alice & Olivia designer Stacey Bendet and Oscar de la Renta PR Erika Bearman.
Among the men to make the list was Gisele Bundchen's sportsman husband Tom Brady. Rapper Jay-Z featured in the list sans his beautiful wife Beyonce.
Colin Firth and wife Livia appeared in the list together. Lauren Santo Domingo came 20th in the list with her music executive husband Andres.
