KCR asks GHMC officials to be firm with illegal structures

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials to deal firmly with illegal constructions.
"During a meeting, the chief minister advised the officials to take the help of police as the need be if the constructions are without any permission from the corporation," according to an official release.
Any advance notice is not required to initiate action, the release quoted the chief minister as saying.
In case the constructions have permission but are built with deviation, they may be served notice before initiating action, he said.
