APM Terminals Pipavav acquires 3 new cranes from China * As part of its expansion plan, Gujarat-based APM Terminals Pivav today said it has acquired three advanced cranes from China.
"APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd) one of Western India's gateway ports, announced the acquisition of three new cranes. The new cranes will be commissioned and 3 existing old cranes will be simultaneously decommissioned in a phased manner to ensure business continuity," the company said in a statement.
Juniper Networks to provide network support to Ashoka Univ * Telecom network gear maker Juniper Networks will provide network infrastructure support to Ashoka University.
The university is building facilities at its 10-hectare campus at the Rajiv Gandhi Education City in Sonipat, 20 kilometers from Delhi.

Airtel to offer 'data back' to prepaid customers
* Taking cue from eCommerce companies' cash-backs, telecom major Airtel will offer "data back" to its prepaid customers to drive usage in non-peak hours.
Under its 'Happy Hours' offer, Airtel will offer 50 per cent data back for all in-app content downloads scheduled between 3.00 am and 5.00 am, it said in a statement.
So, if a customer schedules a video download of 100 MB during the said time, he/she will get 50 MB of data credited back to his/her account.
Developers will not have to pay Airtel for using this feature for their apps, it said.

Nectar would help consumers to compare the products and prices across online retailers offering over 3,000 brands and 30 million products and shoppers can earn Nectar loyalty points or other rewards and special offers, every time they buy online, Aimia said in a statement.
