Kerala pvt bus owners to stop travel concession for students
Hit by soaring oil prices, private bus owners in Kerala today decided to stop travel concession being given to students from the next academic year commencing on June 1.
The decision was taken at a coordination committee meeting of the private bus owners held here.
"The meeting has decided to stop travel concession being given to students in private buses from June 1," a private bus owner said after the meeting.
He said the concession would be extended only if the state government provided subsidy to private bus operators."""
