Chandy also said the government measures would continue to remain agile till all Keralities arrive safely at their destinations.
Meanwhile, Chennithala met Defence Minister Arun Jaitely, who assured the Army's help and other systems for the safe return of Malayalees.
The Union minister said food and other arrangements would be provided to Malayalees stranded in hotel Royal Batoo in Srinagar.
Steps are progressing to bring back Malayalees safely, an official release said.
The state also plans to set up a special distress relief fund to help those affected by floods, it said.
