Kerala to host Civil Military Liaison Conference

A Civil Military Liaison Conference (CMLC), in which senior officers of Kerala government and armed forces will participate, will be held here on March 4.
CMLC is a forum wherein cooperation between civil officials and officers of armed forces is strengthened and problems of ex-servicemen or their widows and serving soldiers are assuaged, a defence release said here today.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will preside over the conference.
Kerala is the only state holding CMLC every year and decisions taken during the conference are monitored and implemented, the release said.
