The situation in Syria and Egypt besides the Israeli-Palestine peace talks are expected to be some of the topic of discussion, the State Department official said.
However, Kerry would not be travelling to Pakistan on this trip.
"Not on this trip, he is still eager to visit Pakistan and is hopeful to do that soon. But I don't have an update on the timing of when that will be," State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki told reporters.
"In light of the new Syrian Opposition Coalition leadership selection that took place last week, we expect the group to discuss Syria as well," she said, adding that Kerry has no plans to visit Israel on this trip.
