The 30-year-old singer said she was "heartbroken" to announce the postponement of the March and April dates of her world tour. The shows that are affected include dates in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Japan.
"I'm heartbroken to be writing this right now. I am being forced to postpone some of my upcoming international dates due to a recent injury I sustained while performing. It's my biggest joy in life to share my music with my fans all over the world, but I have to follow my doctors orders and undergo surgery to repair my torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) so I can get ready to give it all on my Summer tour and beyond," Kesha posted on Instagram.
Kesha had suffered an injury on her knee following a hard fall on-stage at her Dubai concert on February 9 and she recently underwent surgery.
Touring company Select Touring urged fans to hold on to their tickets and said they will be valid for rescheduled dates.
