Kevin Bacon to play guide in 'Jungle'

Actor Kevin Bacon is set to star in 'Jungle', an adaptation of a memoir by Yossi Ghinsberg, who survived to tell the story of his terrorising trip to the Amazon wilderness with two companions and a sketchy guide.
Bacon, 56, will play the mysterious guide. 'Wolf Creek' helmer Greg McLean, who worked with the actor in the upcoming horror thriller '6 Miranda Drive', will sit behind the lens, reported Aceshowbiz.
Justin Monjo will write the screenplay based on Ghinsberg's book. No other cast members are announced, but production is expected to begin early next year on location in Australia and Colombia.
