The 37-year-old multi-talented entertainer will be reuniting with Tim Story, who is in negotiations to direct the project, reported Ace Showbiz.
The film will feature Hart as the leader of a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes while they try to pass the EGD exam.
Hart will produce "Night School" via his Hartbeat Production company alongside Will Packer, who is working via his Will Packer Productions.
"The Secret Life of Pets" voice actor also shares writing credit with Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells and Matt Kellard, with additional script by Nick Stoller. A release date and full cast members are expected to be announced shortly.
