Khattar helps out two persons injured in accident

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today helped two persons, who sustained injuries in a road accident on the GT road here,in rushing them to hospital.
Khattar, who was on his way to Shahpur village in Karnal district, saw a crowd gathered on the roadside. He stopped his official car to find out the reason, said an official release.
He then found that two persons had sustained injuries in a road accident after their bikes collided. He made arrangements to rush them to hospital before resuming his journey and directed the officials to provide the injured best possible medical care, release said.

Meanwhile, Khattar visited Shahpur village in Karnal district to examine the arrangements made for the operation of the three-pond system.
He interacted with the Deputy Commissioner Karnal, J Ganeshan and officials of the Panchayati Raj Institutions, and later briefed the residents of the village on the benefits of the system.
The Chief Minister discussed at length with officials how to make the three-pond system better and convert it into five-pond system which would help improve the quality of water.
He also spoke to Nirmalal Devi, woman sarpanch of the village, on how to increase the income of the gram panchayat.

He asked the gram panchayat about their annual income through fish farming. He was told that fish farming was done in a village pond which has been given on contract, and the income earned from it was being utilised for executing development works in the village.
