Narasimhan, studying in the first standard in a private school in Tirupur, was taken from the class by a person, who is said to be former staff of his doctor-father, on a two-wheeler, from the class room, police said.
Police swung into action immediately on information and alerted the police stations in the district and other strategic points.
After search, the boy along with the abductor was traced to Dharapuram, some 50 Kms from Tirupur, in two hours of the abducton. Interrogation was on to ascertain the reason for the abduction, police said.
