Senior Superintendent of Police Love Kumar has suspended constable Amit Kumar and sent a report about two Home Guards-- Dinesh and Jaiveer-- to the Home Guards headquarters, they said.
An FIR has been lodged in the yesterday evening incident at the Surajpur Police Station, police said today.
Bittoo Jatav was accused of kidnapping and raping a girl on Wednesday. He was arrested yesterday and produced before the court that sent him to 14 days judicial remand, they said.
Bittoo jumped from the vehcile and ran away at a place near the jail, they said.
