Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi and Chief Minister V Narayanasamy condoled the death of senior Congress leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Saturday.
In her condolence message, Bedi said she was saddened to hear of the death.
"She was a woman of culture and finesse as I remember her," the Lt Governor said.
The former IPS officer also said the former chief minister was a delight to converse with.
"Delhi owes a lot to her and she will be remembered for all that changed in Delhi under her leadership," Bedi said.
The chief minister said the late leader was chiefly instrumental in development of infrastructure in Delhi and people would remember her for long.
PWD minister and PCC president A Namassivayam also condoled the death.
