Chairman of an FMGC company was
today arrested for alleged bouncing of cheque after a court in Assam issued a non-bailable warrant against him, police said here.
"We have arrested Kaushik Kumar Nath on the basis of a non-bailable warrant issued by a court in Assam under Sec 138 of Negotiable Instruments act for alleged bouncing of cheque," said Debasis Chakraborty, officer of Jadavpur police station.
Nath is the chairman of KKN group, a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMGC) company based in Kolkata.
