Keira Knightley's Chanel ad for Coco Mademoiselle perfume has been banned from airing during children's programming in the UK. The commercial shows the 27-year-old actor being photographed on a bed and a photographer helping to unzip her clothes before she undresses herself, reported Daily Mail. As per the Advertising Standards Authority, a complainant saw the ad during 'Ice Age 2' and "challenged whether the ad was suitable to be broadcast during a film that was likely to appeal to children, because she believed it was overtly sexual." Chanel said the commercial was "intended to reflect" founder Coco Chanel's spirit of "being a strong, independent woman," and pointed out there was "no nudity in the ad, and none implied." But that wasn't enough to keep it on the airways without restrictions. It has now been ruled that Knightley's Chanel ad "must not be broadcast again in its current form in or around programs of particular appeal to children."
