The FM radio station 'Ishq 104.8' was launched by Bengal's music icon Anupam Roy, known also for his work in 'Piku' and 'Pink' on Monday.
Anupam, who crooned his favourite tracks at the launch, said songs of the channel will definitely hook new age lovers.
'Ishq 104.8' has already been launched in Delhi and Mumbai.
Since the playlist has been co-curated by Anupam, the listener will get to listen to his favourites, another first for a music channel, and not only those selected by the RJ as is the practice.
