Kotwal appointed as Principal Dist & Sessions Judge of Thane

Sunil K Kotwal has been appointed as the new Principal District and Sessions Judge of Thane court.
Prior to this appointment, Kotwal has served as the principal district judge of Sindhudurgh.
He was welcomed at the court by the district court Bar Association at a function here yesterday.
Kotwal said as compared to Sindhudurgh, Thane was a big assignment for him and he would get to learn many things here.
He also assured members of the legal fraternity all kind of support from his end for smooth functioning of the courts.
District Judge VV Virkar was promoted and transferred to Sindhudurgh as the principal district judge.
