The KP assembly, which met after 24 days, discussed the December 16 attack on Army Public School.
A joint resolution of opposition and treasury benches signed by various political parties was presented in the assembly.
Saleem Khan of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Provincial minister Inayatullah Khan (JI) read out the resolution in the House.
The resolution was unanimously adopted after the legislators spoke on the deadly attack on the school.
The resolution also called for gallantry award for the school's principal Tahira Qazi Shaheed and renaming various educational institutes in the province after the names of the deceased students.
The resolution demanded revisiting the foreign policy for restoration of law and order in the country.
The house demanded taking effective steps for the honourable repatriation of Afghan refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). It also paid tributes to the martyred jawans and officers of Pakistan army and other security forces in the war against terrorism.
Provincial Minister Shah Farman in his address asked the federal government to prepare early road map for the rapid repatriation of Afghan refugees.
"The federal government should devise a formula and the time frame for repatriation of Afghan refugees as soon as possible and ensure sending them to Afghanistan at the earliest," Farman said.
