Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of the police and army launched an operation in Langlaksho village last night and was fired upon by a group of militant early this morning, police officials said.
An encounter followed in which two militants were injured but they managed to escape while another was caught.
The security forces recovered an AK-47 rifle and two pistols while hunt was on to nab the militants who had escaped, they said.
