Actress Kristen Bell became emotional during a TV interview as she gushed about how her husband Dax Shepard has managed to overcome his past addiction troubles.
The 36-year-old "Frozen" star sat down for an interview on the CBS network's "Sunday Morning" show, when she debuted photos from the couple's secret wedding in 2013, reported Us magazine.
Instead of hosting the typical lavish celebrity affair, the couple decided to keep the nuptials low-key - and it was so non-traditional, Bell didn't even wear a white dress.
"We got married in a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse, and it was still one of the best days of my life," she smiled, revealing she wore black pants as she showed off images from their big day.
Bell went on to discuss her cosy family life with the couple's two daughters, three-year-old Lincoln and 18-month-old Delta, and fought back tears as she touched on the difficulties fellow actor Shepard had faced before settling down.
"He's a wonderful father. He knows the value of things. He was an addict for many, many years and he pulled himself out of it, and he's been sober for 11, 12 years now... And he knows how many times he's messed up and how many times he's been really close to losing everything."
The stars embarked on a romance in 2007 and became engaged in 2010, and she's proud of the family life the couple has built together.
