Sessions judge Arvind Mishra directed that the judicial remand of Ghosh, Sen and Mukherjee would be extended till December 22 on a prayer by the CBI which is probing the scam on a Supreme Court order.
The judge called for the records of Manoj Negel, a senior official of Saradha Group, who was arrested by the state police and handed over to CBI after it took over the reins of investigation last July.
His counsel prayed that he be released on bail as he had not been named in the charge sheet, though his name appeared in an FIR in connection with the case and had been in custody since November, last year.
