After several teenagers tried the challenge and posted their post-challenge photos on Twitter, Kylie gave response on Twitter.
"I'm not here to try and encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look," she wrote.
Kylie, who did not start the challenge, added, "I want to encourage people/young girls like me to be YOURSELF and not be afraid to experiment with your look."
The "Kylie Jenner Challenge" offered various ways to make puffy lips just like Kylie's lips. The challenge suggested that someone puts a glass or a plastic cup on lips and then sucks the glass for about five minutes.
Doctors had warned that they may cause permanent damage.
