The restaurant, Big Bamboos at Kuanwala area here, collapsed due to the rains, killing the labourer and injuring three of his co-workers, who were engaged in repair work, they said.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.
Intermittent rains continued to lash the state capital and other parts of Uttarakhand, raising water level in the Ganga, the Yamuna and its tributary rivers, officials of Uttarakhand Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre said.
However, the water level in these rivers was below danger level, they said, adding that they are keeping an eye over the situation and have been asked to take immediate steps in case of any untoward incident.
