electrocuted today after he came in contact with a high tension power cable crossing over the house where he was working at Rohrai village.
The deceased was identified as Dinesh, resident of Rojuwas village, police said.
Later, irate villagers blocked the Rewari-Jhajjar National Highway to protest against the alleged negligence of electricity department.
They said their repeated requests to senior officials of electricity department to remove power cable remained unheeded.
The protesters demanded a job in the electricity department for a family member of the deceased and adequate compensation for the next of the kin.
