Lady Gaga praises Lindsay Lohan

The 'Born This Way' hitmaker, who voiced her support for Lohan, said she is a great actress and should not pay head to the critics, reported Digital Spy.

"You did a beautiful job on 'Liz & Dick', Let no one bring you down, Liz didn't, they always try to knock the greats down a few pegs (sic)," Gaga, 26, posted on Twitter.

Lohan, 26, and Gaga have been good friends for some time and enjoyed a slumber party with singer Lana Del Rey at the Chateau Marmont in July where they apparently spent the evening together watching old movies and playing board games.

Lohan also received support from Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie who retweeted Lady Gaga's comment and added, "Stop Bullying Lindsay. Keep your head up girl! (sic)."

'Modern Family' star Jesse Tyler Ferguson also defended her and wrote, "The day after 'Liz & Dick' I just want to say: She's already down. Lets not kick her (sic)."

Her new movie 'Liz & Dick' aired on TV yesterday.
