Attired in Dogri Pagri and Kurta Paijma, Singh took oath as Cabinet Minister for the second time in Mufti Government today.
"I am very happy to be back as Minister to serve the people of the state in honest and dedicated manner," Singh told PTI.
In Basholi constituency of Kathua district, Singh, who left Congress and contested the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly poll on BJP ticket, has defeated former Congress Minister Manohar Lal Sharma by nearly 18,000 votes.
Singh, born 2 February 1959, was a member of the 14th and 15th Lok Sabha. He represented the Udhampur constituency of Jammu and Kashmir.
