Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today assured the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) to expedite land acquisition process in the state for vital projects undertaken by the BRO.
Khandu said development of road network in Arunachal Pradesh has been accorded highest priority as good connectivity would lead to all round development of the state, an official said here.
The assurance came when newly appointed Director General of Border Roads (DGBR) Lt General Harpal Singh called on Khandu at New Delhi.
Matters relating to road projects taken up by the BRO in the state including Trans Arunachal Highway and land acquisition issues were discussed during the meeting, the release said.
The DGBR informed the chief minister that the projects undertaken by BRO were being expeditiously executed.
