Landlord accused of molesting air hostess

An air hostess was allegedly molested by the landlord of the house in Salt Lake city last month where she has been staying with her parents on rent, police said.
The incident allegedly happened on September 27 during the Durga Pujas at a three-storied house in Salt Lake's CB Block. The woman accused the landlord of molesting her following a brawl, police said.
The air hostess further alleged that the police had refused to register her complaint, following which she moved court. Following a court directive, a case was today lodged at the Bidhannagar North Police Station, a senior officer of the police station said.

Claiming that the accused was "lying" about the entire incident, the officer said that the landlord was allegedly assaulted by her father and brother and both of them were arrested on the very day of the incident.
"She is alleging that she was molested on September 27 and now, after a fortnight, she has approached us to file a complaint. She is lying about the incident. It was actually her father and brother who had assaulted the landlord on October 27 and we had arrested both of them. She is making false allegations. We have taken her complaint today and will take proper action into the matter," he said.
