Expressing concern over "deterioration" of law and order situation, he said that there had been alarming increase in the cases of snatching, murder and attempt to murder in the state.
"The SAD-BJP alliance government has completely failed to redress the grievances of the poor and protect the lives and properties of people of the state," he said.
Earlier, Manpreet enquired about the health of Devinder Singh Dhosh, PPP's youth wing activist and four other supporters, who were hospitalised here following a clash with SAD activists last night.
Meanwhile, Moga SSP Surjit Singh Grewal ordered re-investigation into the clash between PPP and SAD workers that occurred on Wednesday in Kaila village of Moga sub division on the issue of causing damage to drinking water supply pipe in which at least 10 persons were injured.
