Police said 3-4 persons came in a car and intercepted the lawyer's vehicle.
When Gupta stepped out of his car, the assailants stabbed him multiple times. He was immediately taken to a private hospital where he was declared dead.
Rajinder Singh Meena, Superintendent of Police, disclosed that teams have been formed and sent to various places to nab the culprits.
