LDF candidates for Malappuram bypoll files nomination

: LDF candidate M B Faizal today filed his nomination for the Malappuram Lok Sabha bypoll, scheduled to be held on April 12.
Faizal filed his papers before District Collector Amit Meena who is the Returning Officer for the byelection, sources at the election cell at the Collectorate said.
The DYFI leader was accompanied by Local Administration minister K T Jaleel, former state Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty and CPI(M) district secretary P P Vasudevan and party colleagues.
The by election was necessitated due to the death of IUML leader and former union minister E Ahamed.
