"Two nominations were received for the post of Council Chairman and both were that of Yadav, therefore his unopposed election is almost certain," Council's Principal Secretary Mohan Yadav today said.
He said that acting Chairman Om Prakash Sharma would announce election of Yadav as the new chairman in the Upper House tomorrow.
The Tenure of previous Chairman Ganesh Chaner Pandey ended on January 15.
